A Signature Surcharge is applied when a shipment requires a signature upon delivery as proof of receipt. This service provides an additional layer of security and accountability, ensuring that your package is delivered to the intended recipient or an authorized representative.
The surcharge applies to shipments where the sender has selected signature-required delivery. This may be mandatory for certain types of shipments based on their declared value, contents, or regulatory requirements.

The most common option. Any person at the delivery address who accepts the package signs as proof of delivery.
Only the specific named recipient can sign for the package. No one else at the address is authorized to accept delivery.
The recipient must present a valid government-issued ID proving they are 21 years of age or older. Used for age-restricted shipments.
When a signature is captured, you can request a digital copy of the signed delivery receipt through our tracking portal or by contacting customer support.
If no one is available to sign for a delivery, our courier will attempt redelivery on the next business day. After three unsuccessful attempts, the shipment will be held at the nearest service center for pickup for up to 7 calendar days before being returned to the sender.
